System Engineer FinOps (m/f/d)

For our Services field Infrastructure Backbone Services in the Tribe Enterprise Compute Core, we are looking for you in full time as System Engineer FinOps (m/w/d) in Karlsruhe or Münster. Your activity is assigned to the Chapter/Squad Connectivity Automation and Infrastructure. Here you work with 8 colleagues across the site and with various interfaces.

Your tasks with perspectives You are an expert for the z/OS mainframe environment at Atruvia and connect a stable, secure IT operation with the strategic development of our system landscape.

You build the central FinOps service within IBSECO and continuously develop the governance framework for the mainframe portfolio.

You create transparency about costs, cost-effectiveness and value contribution and thus support effective management of the portfolio.

You establish measurability, reporting and resilient decision-making bases for products and services.

You rely on automation as a central lever to make processes more efficient, more digital and sustainable.

You actively contribute your know-how, promote knowledge sharing and create new impulses for innovation on the mainframe.

You make an important contribution to the implementation of our IT target image.

Your personality with profile You will be awarded a completed study of (economic) informatics, IT architecture, IT system development as well as many years of relevant professional experience or a comparable qualification as well as experience in managing cross-disciplinary (partial) projects. You have experience in mainframe operation, maintenance and further development as well as sound knowledge in z/OS, system maintenance and optimization. You also have experience with FinOps, ideally in complex IT environments and in the mainframe context. You have an understanding of FinOps as a control of value and cost-effectiveness and have experience with FinOps governance as well as their successful establishment in the company context. Ideally, you will experience AI-based methods to analyze and visualize costs, resource consumption and optimization potential. You have knowledge of German (at least C1 level) and good English (B2 level). You are open to new technologies and innovative solutions. You are strong in communication, conflictable and secure in cooperation with cross-functional teams.
