You actively shape the regulatory future of (return) insurance, work on regulatory frameworks such as Solvency II or international capital standards such as the Insurance Capital Standard (ICS), follow legislative developments and support a clear presentation of our enterprise at national and international level. Analyzing regulatory developments – quantitatively & qualitatively – and introducing your assessments into decision-making processes. You are introducing your perspective into associations and specialised bodies (including Insurance Europe, Reinsurance Advisory Board, CRO Forum), and you are jointly developing positions with other experts. Working with the associations and bodies is an exchange of policy makers: in Germany, Europe and the world, you are building a strong international network. You represent our interests in relevant bodies and oversight agencies at the German and European level. You work closely with colleagues from risk management, underwriting and our global locations. You develop common solutions, share knowledge and support each other.

A completed master's degree in financial or economic mathematics, economics or a comparable field; you are trained as an actor:in (DAV or equivalent) Interest in political developments and regulatory frameworks – ideally related to Solvency II or international supervisory requirements knowledge of German and English; you communicate clearly, respectful and addressable The ability to prepare complex topics in a comprehensible manner and to arrange them for different target groups. A remote, sovereign way of dealing with authorities, associations and policy-makers: The willingness to regular international missions You will also keep the overview of the wide range of issues, identify relationships and find pragmatic solutions. You like to work with others, introduce your own perspectives and involve different opinions constructively. You may not meet all the requirements mentioned, but you will understand your expertise.
