Lead Safety Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibility & Counselling: Implementation of safety standards and consulting management, engineering management and project teams in the field of product safety Competence Management & Training: Accompanying specialist departments and project teams in the application of standards and standards for product safety; Planning and partial implementation of safety engineers training Conception & Release: Creation of technical concepts for approval processes and interface function for commissioning and manufacturing in product release Reporting & Documentation: Release of Safety Assessment Reports (SAR) as proof of product safety, assessment and documentation of deviations in SAR Interface and Conformity Management: Contact person:in for acceptance institutions (ZTQ, DNV, TÜV, etc.), cooperation with standardisation organisations and bodies, support of the commissioned system security for safety-critical issues and signing of CE conformity declarations on behalf of management

Complete studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, shipbuilding or a comparable qualification as well as several years of professional experience in the field of product safety, preferably in the maritime industry or related sectors Knowledge of relevant standards and standards (e.g. IEC 61508, ISO 13849) and experience in the implementation of risk assessments and the creation of safety and risk concepts Embossed communication and team skills, convincing argumentation strength towards internal and external stakeholders and an independent, structured way of working Ready for occasional regional and national missions knowledge of German language; good English skills are advantageous
