You understand IT infrastructure not only as a company, but as a key success factor for the future of a company? You combine technological expertise with leadership and actively promote changes? As Head of IT infrastructure, you take a central role within our IT. You develop our infrastructure, strengthen IT security and create the basis for a powerful and sustainable IT landscape together with your team. You take over leadership and develop our IT infrastructure team professionally and disciplinefully. You will focus on cooperation, commitment and sustainable development of your employees. You are responsible for the planning, operation and development of our networks, server landscapes, cloud platforms and data center structures. You drive important infrastructure, modernization and IT security projects and actively shape the future of our IT. You ensure compliance and security requirements and continuously develop existing security concepts. Projects successfully steer you priority, tax and pursue strategically important IT projects with high business impact. Internationalization allows you to create a scalable and sustainable infrastructure that meets the requirements of an internationally oriented group of companies. You work closely with external service providers and technology partners and take over the responsibility for your budget.

Frame & Success

You report directly to IT department management and take responsibility for IT infrastructure management. Together with the management of IT Application Management, you are one of the two central management pillars of our IT organization. You will lead a team of seven employees as well as our Helpdesk team with eight employees in indirect leadership over the team management. You actively promote the development of our infrastructure, IT security and data center landscape.

technical:

Complete study of computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification Long-standing experience in IT infrastructure and multi-year leadership experience Knowledge of infrastructure, networks, Microsoft technologies, cloud platforms and IT security Detectable experience in managing complex IT infrastructures and larger IT projects Experience in IT service management, ideally according to ITIL Understanding the challenges of a manufacturing company is beneficial Very good knowledge of German and English
