Since its foundation in 1931, the St. Elisabeth Hospital in the South of Leipzig has been providing professional medical care. Thanks to a consistent technical and technical development and the well-founded training and further training of our employees, we provide our patients with care at the level of time.

We are an academic teaching hospital of the University of Leipzig and a hospital of basic and regular care with 374 beds in Catholic institution.

Patients should be able to experience security at our hospital and expect individual attention. Through our daily use we help create a trusted atmosphere.

As a subsidiary of St. Elisabeth Hospital Leipzig, we are responsible for

• food supply,
• maintenance cleaning,
• Medical Device Processing (ZSVA)
• as well as bed preparation.

Our approximately 140 employees take care of the well-being of our patients every day.

For our team we are looking for a dietary cook / diet cook as effective gain in full time (40 hours/week).

Your new challenges with us

• Professional preparation of full, mild food and special diets of warm and cold cuisine.
• Active co-design and further development of food plans in consultation with nutritional advice.
• Monitoring and compliance with quality, hygiene and safety standards.
• Disposition of goods, professional storage and avoidance of food waste.

What we expect from you

• Education & expertise: Complete cooking training with training for the state-recognized dietary chef as well as thorough knowledge of dietary forms, incompatibility (such as celiac or allergies) and special diets.
• Experience: Ideally practice in community use, clinics or gastronomy with a focus on diet.
• Expertise: Ability to tastefully appealing preparation of dietary food, safe handling of HACCP hygiene standards and desirable computer skills for menu detection systems.
• Personality & Working: High sense of responsibility for allergy requirements, team skills in cooperation with nursing and consulting staff as well as a resilient, customer-oriented and structured way of action.
• Application planning: You will also be prepared to take part in weekends and holidays as part of our regulated shift service.
