Your future job: For our renowned customer HENSOLDT at Wetzlar, you are a software developer (m/w/d) in the field of camera systems and radars. HENSOLDT is a leading global provider of premium sensors for safety, and monitoring missions. The company is strongly represented in the markets for radars, optronics and electronic protection systems and among other things world market leaders in missile warning systems and submarine periskopen.

Your tasks:

• Conception, development and maintenance of a software solution with custom designs
• Expanding the innovative, service-oriented software architecture
• Development in C++ under Linux and Windows
• Quality assurance of our source code through regular and structured code reviews
• Use of modern software technologies and tools (git, Atlassian, Bitbucket, Bamboo, CMake, C++17/20, MQTT, CAN, CANopen)
• Working in a motivated and open-minded development team
• Planning and implementation of software development according to agile principles
• Use of an environment for server-side builds and tests

Your profile:

• Complete study of computer science with a focus on software development or a comparable qualification
• Multiannual professional experience in software development
• Experience in implementing code reviews and implementing quality standards
• High quality awareness for clean and efficient code
• Very good programming knowledge (at least C++17, multithreading applications)
• Good knowledge of CAN bus and CANopen protocols as well as implementation and integration in software solutions
• Knowledge of agile development methods
• German and English knowledge in word and writing
