Senior Researcher*in im Forschungslab »Secure Software Defined Defence«

You take responsibility for the successful construction and organisational structure of the Research & Testing Laboratory and the Fraunhofer Project Office, consistently and efficiently pursue the project objectives and ensure the implementation of strategic measures. You plan, coordinate and monitor the development of new research services for defence and security – the design of application and innovation projects on the side of industry and business is firmly anchored in your DNA. The management of cooperation between internal and external stakeholders from politics, science, industry, civil society, as well as the Bundeswehr and blue light organisations is also one of your tasks to ensure smooth implementation. You are responsible for complex research and innovation topics, take over leadership tasks in the project team and are well familiar with the development of demonstrators as well as the planning, implementation and evaluation of test concepts and offers in the technology and knowledge transfer for defence and security. You support the project management in all aspects of project management through secure and experience-based planning and control of time, costs, content and sizes using common methods and technologies.

Successfully completed academic studies (Diplom or Master) in one of the MINT subjects, the Business Administration (e.g. focusing on innovation management or business informatics) or in human, social or human sciences with a socio-technical focus Insufficient doctorate, habilitation or habilitation adequate services desired Outstanding scientific achievements and multi-year, well-founded experience in applied research, development and technology and knowledge transfer at universities, in non-university research or in industry and business willingness to carry out professional leadership in joint projects, including budget and personnel responsibility Excellent German and very good English knowledge in word and writing Last but not least, you are characterized by analytical thinking, a high level of problem-solving competence, a precise way of working, resilience, predictive thinking and value-based action and the willingness to participate in regular service trips.
