Senior Consultant IT/OT for the Process Industry (m/f/d)

IT/OT Convergence: You advise our customers to secure and efficient networking of production and IT systems. With your understanding of requirements from production environment and IT infrastructure, you connect Shopfloor and Topfloor to coherent overall solutions. Project work: Systematically analyze existing IT/OT landscapes, develop suitable system architectures and accompany their implementation in concrete customer projects. Workshops: In workshops, proof-of-concepts and feasibility studies, you plan and control action, content and coordination with the relevant stakeholders. Responsibility In projects, you take the technical role as a consultant, guide teams and actively introduce your know-how in IT/OT topics. Portfolio development: You help shape our consulting portfolio in the process industry and support acquisition activities with your expertise.

Education: You have a degree in economic engineering, process engineering, computer science or a comparable degree course. Professional experience: You have 6 years of experience in the process industry (e.g. chemistry, steel) as well as in company or IT consulting, ideally at the interface of production and IT, shapes your career. OT competence: Industrial control and automation systems such as PLC, DCS, SCADA and MES you know very well and have a deep understanding of their integration with IT systems. Process knowledge: Thanks to your deep understanding of production and business processes in the process industry, for example in production, maintenance or supply chain, you meet sound decisions and recommendations. Digitization: You have know-how in implementing IT/OT solutions from architecture to security inspections to scaling in operation and using production data for analytics and AI applications. AI competence: You use AI tools in your field, evaluate the results critically and support customers and adessi to use potentials of AI. Language skills: Your very good knowledge of German and good English allows you to communicate safely.
