About us HORIZONT e.V. is a non-profit association that advocates housingless children and mothers as well as socially disadvantaged families in Munich. Founded by Jutta Speidel in 1997, the association operates two HORIZONT houses: A sheltered institution for homeless women and children as well as an open house with a socio-cultural offer for children, young people and adults, consisting of KITA, cultural stage, educational area, workshops and adventure garden. HORIZONT is a growth-oriented non-profit organization that already builds a third house and thus further expands its core business – security and prospects for housingless families. In the HORIZONT-protection house we are looking for a social pedagogue*in (m/w/d) for the care of mothers and children in parttime (26 hours/week).

You take care of the person-centred care and advice of homeless children and mothers In addition to the focus of the joint development of individual resources of the residents, you support them in dealing with authorities You will participate in the recording process of residents and cooperate with internal and external bodies in the sense of case management Planning and implementing leisure activities and projects for residents is one of your tasks If necessary, you will take over the social pedagogical crisis and conflict management The creation of case documentation and annual reports as well as cooperation in the conceptual development of the shelter complete your working day

You have a degree in social education, pedagogy, social work or a comparable qualification Ideally you bring first professional experiences in the care of mothers and children with You have good knowledge in Excel and all Microsoft Office programs As a team player, you are in the heart of a supportive relationship and high self-responsibility You have very good German skills in word and writing, foreign language skills are of advantage
