Number: MER0003W8K Quality is the core value of the Mercedes-Benz brand and therefore one of the most important success factors of our work - from development, production on the tape to the vehicle in customer hands. In the product groups EVA2 and SUV, we lay the foundation for electromobility and luxury SUVs and control all development-relevant quality processes across the entire product development process, from the strategy phase to the series start. As part of your internship in the field of project management quality, you will be able to enter the vehicle development process early on and collect both practical experience in project and quality management. You will get insights into innovations and the opportunity to accompany a completely new type of vehicle in the development and test phase and to get to the road through your cooperation. These challenges include: Analysis and preparation of technical problems and quality-relevant customer feedback including preparation of lecture documents for appointments at management level

Participation in the coordination of all new product approaches worldwide within the framework of a body

Digitization & Visualization of KPIs using Power BI or similar tool

Support in ordering test vehicles for Q releases including verification of equipment lists and control of changes

Support in the planning of management workshops through coordination with project management partners in the development and other QM departments of the US plant Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Full processing of smaller project tasks

Contact care to the employees of the quality department Tuscaloosa and regular exchange of relevant quality information

Participation in the query and preparation of internal test results in the form of monthly reporting to achieve the quality objectives

Degree course in the field of economic engineering, mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, electromobility, electrical engineering or a comparable degree course

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Routinized handling of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), knowledge SharePoint and collaboration tools of advantage

Interest in cross-departmental project management and in cooperation with different stakeholders

High degree of self-motivation

Self-employed work in order to be able to assume the greatest possible responsibility for the tasks involved.
