For our logistics park in Estorf near Hannover, we expand our business with an additional location as part of our further growth. We are looking for an Operations Manager (m/w/d) / Logistics Manager (m/w/d) at 01.06.2026. In this role, you are responsible for the operational management of the site. You ensure stable, efficient and high-quality processes, perform the operating team and work closely with the Site General Manager, customers and internal interfaces.

Total responsibility for all operations in the warehouse

Professional and disciplinary leadership of all operative employees at the site

Planning, control and continuous optimization of operational processes taking into account quality, efficiency, safety and costs

Staff deployment and capacity planning including timing

Ensuring and further developing performance, quality and productivity indicators (KPIs)

Responsibility for compliance with statutory and internal safety standards

Organisation, seizure and auditing of training measures

Implementation of employee and development talks

First contact person (m/w/d) for customers as well as internal and external interfaces in operating daily business

Close cooperation with the site management and representation of the Site General Manager in absence

Active monitoring, analysis and reporting of performance, quality and cost indicators

Completed studies in logistics, BWL, VWL or a comparable qualification

Multiannual professional experience in contract logistics, ideally in senior operational function

Detectable leadership experience of larger teams across multiple levels

Funded knowledge in the operational control of logistics processes

Experience in dealing with Lean Management, Kaizen, Six Sigma or comparable methods

Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Safe handling of MS Office and common warehouse management systems

Embossed hand-on mentality, enforcement strength and high self-responsibility

Strong analytical skills, solution-oriented thinking and high service orientation

Communication strength, team spirit and a sovereign appearance towards customers and employees

Flat hierarchies and short decision-making paths that allow you to actively shape things and quickly implement them
