During the 12-month trainee program you will get a comprehensive insight into the BARMER to understand organizational relationships. You will get to know the diverse facets of our business areas within the framework of hospitations and can thus lay the foundation for your professional network. Among other things, you take the first responsibility for demanding tasks and work with cross-disciplinary projects so that you have the opportunity to put your knowledge acquired in your studies into practice from the outset. In addition, you will get an overview of the collective and selective contract business, the hospital negotiations, the promotion of self-help and nationwide prevention projects, the committee work and the national press, policy and public relations work.

They have a successfully completed degree (Bachelor/Master's degree) of health economics, economics or law. In addition, you will ideally bring first professional experience, for example, through an internship or working student activities in the healthcare sector. With German knowledge on at least C1 level, you communicate safely and professionally in a German-speaking working environment. They are already familiar with an economic approach and the implementation of data analyses. Through your analytical thinking and rapid understanding, you are able to derive meaningful strategies and recommendations for action. In addition, you benefit from high IT affinity and enthusiasm for digitalization in the healthcare sector.
