Number: MER00047VC Own Retail is the Group's own sales organization of Mercedes-Benz in Germany and represents the most valuable luxury car brand in the world compared to our customers. In a dynamic and changing environment, we are responsible for the development and implementation of strategic concepts, as well as the identification and implementation of measures to achieve our sales, quality, cost and earnings targets. To the tasks of Business Intelligence MB Retail Car & VANS Dtschl. (FMS/RC) include the integration of different business perspectives into existing processes and the provision of relevant key figures for different areas of expertise and the Horizon project. We use SAP BW as a central data platform and modern technologies in the field of Artificial Intelligence for business planning, reporting and analysis of business performance indicators. You support our team in the analysis and processing of business data and in the continuous development of reporting and business intelligence solutions. In addition, you can participate in projects in the context of data management, cost and performance control as well as the optimization of digital processes. You work closely with different departments and gain insights into the management and development of our business. These challenges come to you, among other things: Supporting the reporting and planning process based on SAP NetWeaver BI 7.0 HANA, SAP BPC Embedded Planning and SAP Analytics Cloud with the integration of modern AI solutions and agent systems

Participation in the further development of existing reports, analyses and management information for internal and external stakeholders

Support for the inclusion, documentation and follow-up of technical requirements for internal and external IT service providers

Identification, evaluation and implementation of current technological trends for the further development of the existing planning, reporting and data landscape

Technical and technical support of the users of our planning, reporting and controlling tools

Analysis of business indicators and support in the creation of decision templates for management

The activity can start from October 2026.

Ideally, you bring the following: Immatrikulation in an economic or data-oriented study course, e.g. business management, business informatics, business analytics, business intelligence, data science or a comparable study programme

Interest in business relations and the business development of the Mercedes-Benz subsidiaries

Expressed analytical thinking and joy in working with numbers, data and key figures

Secure handling of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

First experiences with data analysis, reporting or BI tools (e.g. Power BI, SAP, SQL or comparable systems) are advantageous

Affinity for digital technologies, data management and artificial intelligence (AI) and interest in their practical application in the business environment

Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English in word and writing

knowledge of Python, R or comparable are advantageous

Personal competencies: Teamability, own initiative and an independent and structured way of working

High level of reliability and sense of responsibility

readiness to work quickly into new topics and systems
