Patent Attorney (m/f/d)

Advise and accompany our specialist departments in development projects in patent-relevant topics.

Protective developments are identified by you and you evaluate invention messages.

You carry out patent analyses such as Freedom-to-Operate analyses, comment on them and derive possible recommendations for action.

In cooperation with our external patent attorneys, you will accompany patent applications in the registration and verification procedures and evaluate the rights and technologies of competition in Germany and abroad.

You develop and manage patent information, conduct statistical evaluations and exchange within the business units.

Monitoring of opposition, nullity and infringement proceedings.

Inventor compensation contracts and calculation of corresponding remuneration.

You support the creation of IP-relevant contracts, such as licensing or development contracts with international partners.

You have completed their studies in the field of physics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or process engineering, preferably with the additional qualification to the patent engineer or proven comparable knowledge and skills.

Multiannual professional experience in the field of industrial property, preferably with practical experience.

You can inspire yourself to legal questions and convince yourself with your analytical approach and your solution competence.

Above-average affinity for technologies, research in technical literature and creative approaches are among your strengths.

With your very good knowledge of German and English, you are well prepared for interdisciplinary and international cooperation.
