The Heilpädagogische Institut Vincenzhaus in Hofheim am Taunus is a health education institution for children and youth assistance with the attached school at the Vincenzhaus (school with a focus on emotional and social development). In five subject areas, about 110 children, young people and young adults are supervised in different group settings in the age of six to seventeen years, in individual cases also beyond the legal age. These include diagnostic and therapy groups, health education groups and day groups, as well as outdoor groups in the surrounding Main-Taunus Circle. Our school offers 68 students a structured and motivating framework of school learning. This establishment is one of about 100 institutions and services of the Caritasverband Frankfurt e. V., the welfare association of the Catholic Church in Frankfurt am Main. “Strengthening people. Find ways. ‘ This is the expression of our vision for a solidarity and social urban society without exclusion of disadvantaged persons who enable ALL to live in dignity. With over 1800 employees and about 1400 volunteers in services of the Caritasverband Frankfurt e. V. we offer our partners a unique network of social offers and help to make our vision a reality every day. For the support of our team we are looking for a dedicated one at the next time:

In two diagnostic groups we provide 12 young people aged between six and fourteen. A differentiated psychological report for each child is prepared in the diagnostic period for four months. The basis of the report is the observation of behaviour, test psychology procedures and intensive parental and family work, as well as the assessments by the teachers of our school at the Vincenzhaus. As a pedagogue, you will recognize and promote the resources and personal development of young people. You can support them in their personality development and, in exchange with the psychologist of the group, the team and the field management, create a pedagogical diagnosis. We use the opportunity to better get to know the family background of the attendees during house visits and to add a systemic view of the individual child. In weekly service meetings and regular supervisions, you have the opportunity to reflect your observations in everyday life with the team and discuss relationships. For the period of diagnostics, the children in our diagnostic groups also visit our school at the Vincenzhaus in order to obtain a comprehensive picture in school matters. Furthermore, the children have the opportunity to participate in the multi-group educational offers of the institution. Here there are weekly offers such as a football AG, a climbing AG, a psychomotorik group, a swimming offer etc. The willingness to take over shift, weekend and holiday services as well as night willingness is of course for you. You will enjoy an intensive teamwork and bring your skills to the further development of the offer. You have an accurate observation capability and can identify relationships. In the leisure area you bring your preferences and interests, recognize the interests of the children and initiate suitable offers.
