Head of Cybersecurity

As a specialist field manager:in cybersecurity you develop the multiannual cybersecurity roadmap in close coordination with the IT infrastructure teams and other stakeholders. You translate regulatory requirements (NIS2, ISO 27001/27002) from the outset into pragmatic, technical measures, not in theoretical lists, but implementable projects. Your team is responsible for building and operating the central services such as SIEM, EDR and vulnerability management. You plan and test everything together with the operating teams and perform this in the productive operation. In addition, you will be the first contact person together with your team: both for all cybersecurity questions, from architectural consulting in projects to concrete support in ongoing operations. Be sure that security is not taken into account afterwards, but is thought along from the very beginning and is also alive. Together with the specialist teams, you develop binding technical security policies and standards (e.g. hardening requirements, logging and monitoring requirements, cloud security baseline, encryption standards, network segmentation). The guidelines are adopted as mandatory for all IT areas in the IT governance process and reviewed by your team, constructively, transparently and with an eye.

You have a completed study of (economic) informatics, engineering or a comparable qualification. You also have several years of professional experience in cybersecurity and IT infrastructure. You also have a deep understanding of security architectures and security operations (SIEM, EDR, VulnMgmt, Hardening). You have practical experience in cybersecurity of critical infrastructures (KRITIS), ideally with OT components. In addition, you have proven successes in the development of technical safety guidelines, processes and standards. You have good knowledge of regulatory requirements (NIS2, ISO 27001/27002) and their technical implementation. Analytical and structured thinking as well as a high problem-solving competence and a pronounced communication strength characterize your personality. Complex technical topics also non-experts: to make them understandable and to position security as a partner:no challenge for you. Negotiating German and English skills complete your profile.
