Quality-Gatekeeper in the team: Clear acceptance criteria and create test plans Manual and explorative testing: perform functional end-to-end checks, regression and smoke testing in web browsers and if necessary in mobile browsers Reproducing and documenting bugs: Entering Findings in our YouTrack and coordinating priorities with POs and developers Maintenance of QA checklists and metrics as well as introduction of Lessons-Learned in retros Define test strategy and architecture: Select suitable tools, frameworks and metrics for API, UI and integration tests If necessary develop and maintain test automation: end-to-end scenarios, API tests, performance benchmarks, contract tests Code reviews, pair testing and perform workshops to anchor quality minimum set throughout the team Error Analysis and Reporting: Minimize Flakes, deploy Reports/Dashboards These tasks ensure that web applications are high quality and error-free before You are delivered to end users.
Funded knowledge (> 3 years) in the field of quality engineering in web projects Experience in handling tools like YouTrack as well as test management and test frameworks Basic understanding of HTTP/REST, HTML/CSS as well as the ability to read and roughly understand code (example in Java, PHP, Python) Motivation to build and expand test automation if the project requires strong team and communication skills, joy in active knowledge transfer and pragmatic problem solving Safe German and technical English
