You support the Legal Team in the following tasks: Design, examination and negotiation of German- and English-language contracts in the fields of industrial legal protection and copyright law (among others licensing agreements on patents, know-how and software) Design, examination and negotiation of German- and English-language contracts in the areas of corporate law/Venture Capital/M&A (among others founding, financing and sales contracts with regard to MPG spin-offs) Support of the MPG for intellectual property and industrial property issues in cooperation and consultant contracts/interest activities
As an ideal candidate (m/w/d) the following conditions: You are a full lawyer (m/w/d) with at least 2 years of relevant professional experience; It distinguishes a very careful and independent way of working in treating contracts, as well as negotiation skills and resilience even in difficult situations; You have knowledge of German and English in word and writing; You are able to explain legal matters also to non-Jurists; You have a basic understanding of economic and technical-nature-scientific relations and have experience in connection with academic research institutions and in technology transfer; You are a team player, have own initiative, flexibility and a structured way of working. The body is limited to 2 years, with the possibility of determination.
Remuneration is effected according to the collective agreement of the public service (TVöD Bund) depending on the qualification, from the EC 13.
