Team Leader Project Engineering (m/f/d)

For our team we are looking for a team leader project engineering that leads our product engineering function and acts as a central interface between research & development, production, operations and other business areas. The position is designed as a hands-on leadership role and combines product engineering, compliance and quality management. The aim is to ensure robust release processes as well as high-quality and standard products. You structure and control the “backend” of the R&E: You establish processes, answer documentation, guide the team and ensure a smooth transition from development to series production. It is a present onsite role in a closely geared development and production environment with high visibility in the company. Leadership in Product Engineering Professional and disciplinary leadership as well as further development of the product engineering team Responsibility for product engineering processes (design freezes, pilot series, process freezes, volume releases) Close coordination with R&D, Operations, Supply Chain and Product Management BOM and continuous product improvement Identification and closure of process gaps between R&D and operations Control of change and improvement processes in product development across departments Compliance Coordination of all compliance activities for new products Maintenance of compliance documentation Support for CE and EMC relevant topics Internal interface to compliance experts function (the expertise remains with the central compliance team) Support release processes that require external compliance release Quality management Responsibility for internal quality standards Support for production in quality problems Installation of systems for the detection, analysis and evaluation of test and measurement data act as an interface between the R&D department and the ISO manager, supporting the following tasks: Process mapping and version control Determination and elimination of gaps in R&D processes in accordance with ISO requirements

Comprehensive experience with high-tech products in the product or project development environment Proven experience in employee management and team coordination High organizational capacity, structured functioning and pragmatic approach to problem solutions Knowledge of quality, compliance, release and industrialization processes Background or education in Six Sigma, quality management or similar methods Experience in work in ISO-compliant environments Ability to align “what is needed” with the focus on delivering a truly excellent product Safe communicator that feels comfortable at the interface between technology and the rest of the company Embossed project management skills Willingness to participate in training and develop expertise in ISO, compliance and quality Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing
