What we plan together: REWE Group's IT governance is responsible for the IT framework and IT risk and IT compliance methods for the entire REWE group. As a manager for IT-GRC, you opt for the governance, risk and compliance (GRC) requirements for IT and support and advise the various IT units of REWE Group in both domestic and individual cases abroad on questions about IT governance and IT compliance. You will also help the IT units, especially in the case of accounting-relevant issues in the IT environment as well as in the targeted introduction of new technologies in the Group. The topics address current fields such as artificial intelligence, the introduction of a new Loyalty program or M&A issues. The different business models in the REWE Group (food sales and production, construction market, tourism, convenience etc.) create exciting challenges with a lot of variety.

The written position is located at the Cologne site where the relatively young team meets regularly.

Due to the organisational structure of REWE Group, the two themes “Information Security” and “Data Protection” are covered by dedicated departments in REWE Group and are not part of the IT governance.

What you do with us: In close cooperation with the various areas, you control the establishment of a regulatory framework and its continuous and appropriate further development. You advise on the implementation of legal IT requirements and their continuous development. You are the central interface between IT, Legal and other relevant (GRC) departments to ensure that compliance requirements are effectively communicated and implemented. You develop guidelines and procedures for ensuring IT governance within the company and monitor the implementation. In addition, you analyse new or amended legal requirements and their impact on the organization. You’re puggling and opting for the REWE Group’s Control Frame Work and being responsible for coordinating and implementing training and awareness-raising programs for employees in terms of IT security and compliance issues. You work closely with all IT departments and risk management and support IT units in the appropriate implementation of IT compliance requirements. You care and expand the measurement and maturity model. You advise all levels on IT compliance in processes, products and projects. You are responsible for the further structure of the REWE Group's governance model. You will be launching regular reports for management on the status and progress of IT governance and compliance initiatives, supporting the IT organisation in internal and external audits/audits and pursuing the implementation of possible measures. You are also taxing and supporting corrective measures to remedy conformity constraints.

What convinces us: You have successfully completed a study of (economic) informatics, IT security, economics or comparable training. You already have experiences in the field of IT governance or IT compliance, ideally through appropriate auditing or consulting activities. You show strong analytical skills and are able to penetrate complex issues and develop solutions. You have excellent communication skills to interact effectively with different disciplines and hierarchy levels. You are able to work out complicated facts self-controlled and self-responsibility for non-specialists: both understandably and understand how business processes, risks, controls and audits are related. You have first experience in creating and maintaining corporate guidelines and frameworks. You have a mature IT confession and knowledge of relevant standards and standards such as ISO37301, ISO31000ITIL, COBIT, BSI, COSO, IDW RS FAIT 1-5, KRITIS, (ISO27001, ISO19600). You have fun and interest in working and supporting in diverse and varied environments. You are interested in developing pragmatic solutions for regulatory requirements with the field and IT. You like to work in the team and drive things forward independently. You are ready to continue to train to keep up to date developments and best practices in IT-GRC. You have very good knowledge of German (C2), as well as knowledge of English (C1).
