Product Owner - Legal & Compliance Platform (m/f/d)

As a Product Owner, you are responsible for the further development of this product – from the strategic vision to the individual user story. You are the link between legal expertise, customer needs and an in-house developer team and make sure that regulatory complexity creates a solution that works in everyday life.

Product & Backlog Responsibility for product vision and product backlog – from strategic prioritization to detailed information in developing user stories analysis of regulatory and technical requirements from legal, compliance and finance; Translation into scalable software functions and automated workflows control of sprint planning and releases; Shielding of the developer team so that it can be focused Stakeholder Management Close cooperation with internal specialist:inside, customer success and external corporate customers Identification of user needs and ensuring that features deliver real value Expective management and transparent communication via scope, priorities and trade-offs

Completed studies in business informatics, law, BWL or comparable Multiannual experience (approx. 3–5 years) as Product Owner, Product Manager or in a comparable role, ideally in the B2B-SaaS environment Routinized use of agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) and common tools (e.g. linear, Miro) Solid technical foundation (APIs, modern software architectures) – you don't program yourself, but discuss with the development at eye level Experience or strong affinity in legal technology, compliance or data protection is a big plus Of course, the use of AI tools in everyday work – whether in structuring requirements, researching complex facts or optimizing own processes Pragmatic, solution-oriented working with the ability to prevent Scope Creep and set clear priorities German knowledge (legal units) and very good English knowledge (technical communication) Good to know: The role is not a classic project management with changing projects – you continuously build a product and shape it in the long term.
