Technical Data Analyst (m/f/d)

We build it, we run it – together we are responsible for the Data section from Collection to Insight. You help us understand the behaviour of our users on more than 30 portals. The focus of your role is on Data Collection. As a tracking specialist in the data team, you are the first contact person for the tracking technologies we use (Google: GA and GTM). You develop and optimise technical solutions within our SST setup in combination with our Lake House platform in the GCP (Google Cloud Platform). You independently implement tracking solutions, wait for our setup and ensure a high-performance and contemporary tracking setup. You are the interface to other teams: you translate the needs for data collection of stakeholders, including editorial, business, subscription and performance marketing into tracking concepts and technical requirements for service providers, agencies and web developers. Our Subscription and Advertising Units provide you with first-party data. Your results have Impact: You build user-friendly reports and, together with our stakeholders, guide specific action recommendations based on your analyses. You work closely with the team and get into our agile work processes (Kanban/Jira).

You have at least three years of professional experience as a tracking specialist and are at home in the digital world. You have extensive experience in the implementation and use of standard tools for web analysis (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Firebase). HTML, CSS and Javascript are not foreign words for you. Ideally, you can also handle Python or SQL and already know you with Google BigQuery. Knowledge of the design and implementation of tracking solutions for non-classical web sources (e.g. Salesforce, CRM forms, server-side events) are advantageous. You are communicative and open, focus on your goals and have a high degree of self-drive. You’re technically at the heart of time and bring your experience into decisions on technical designs and best practices. You speak German at least on C1 level, as this is our team language.
