Specialist (m/w/d) Supply Chain - Operational Purchasing

Carglass® in Germany is a specialist in the repair and rebuilding of vehicle glass. In Germany, Carglass® employs around 2,100 employees, including over 1,600 specially trained Carglass® technicians. About 250 employees work at the head office in Cologne, around 170 employees are employed at the Customer Contact Center (Call Center). The company operates around 1.2 million. Customer contacts per year and helps drivers throughout Germany, either in one of the 370 service centers or on the move with more than 240 mobile units. To support the supply chain, we are looking for Specialist (m/w/d) Supply Chain

Responsibility for the acquisition of direct material and services – from demand determination to order. Ensure smooth shopping processes in the daily business for service delivery. Keep an eye on stocks, redirect them in time and become active in price changes – including post-negotiations or the search for alternatives. Maintenance and updating of product master data in our goods management systems to ensure high data quality. Establishing and maintaining an efficient supplier portfolio with the goal of long-term, reliable partnerships. Close cooperation with internal departments, especially in the further development of product group strategies. Creation and monitoring of bonus agreements with suppliers in the direct field. Checking invoices for accuracy and completeness for ordered products and services

Complete commercial training or university studies, ideally focusing on purchasing, logistics or supply chain management. Multiannual professional experience in a comparable position – in particular in the negotiation management, supplier support and creation of business scenarios. Safe handling of Oracle as well as very good knowledge inMicrosoft Excel. German and English knowledge in word and writing. A pronounced service understanding, high communication strength and safe negotiation skills. A structured, organised and independent way of working and a high degree of willingness to work. Analytical and conceptual thinking paired with a target and result-oriented approach
