We are looking to complement our Procurement team in Hanover as Projektmanager (m/w/d) Technology As Sourcing Manager (m/w/d), you are responsible for ensuring that our production facilities, the infrastructure of our plants and logistics, as well as our buildings are always up-to-date and operational. You create capital goods, spare parts and technical services that are essential for our cookie production.

You are responsible for purchasing capital goods (machines, plants, production lines), technical components, spare parts and technical services (assembly) for our national and international production and logistics locations. You continuously analyze the global procurement market for technical goods and services, identify new, powerful and sustainable suppliers and develop existing partner relationships strategically. You identify proactive savings potentials and optimization options in your categories, evaluate Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and implement these potentials in a targeted manner – without endangering quality and delivery reliability. You carry out complex calls, negotiate contracts (e.g. maintenance contracts, framework contracts for spare parts, purchase contracts for plants) with a focus on technical specifications, quality standards, delivery times and conditions. You act as a business partner for our engineering, production, maintenance and logistics departments. You understand their technical requirements and work closely with them to develop optimal procurement solutions. You evaluate and minimise procurement risks (e.g. supply bottlenecks, technology changes) and develop strategies to ensure security of supply. You promote sustainable procurement practices and introduce innovative solutions and technologies into the discussion that can improve our production processes and our infrastructure.

You have several years of professional experience in technical purchasing, ideally in a manufacturing company (primarily food industry or similar areas with high hygiene and quality standards). You bring a strong technical understanding (interpretation of drawings, specifications) and know the relevant markets and suppliers (investment goods, mechanical engineering, automation, spare parts, technical services). A study/technical training is advantageous. Your negotiating skills are excellent and you convince by a sovereign occurrence; you communicate and present safely in German and English. You have experience in managing complex procurement projects and can drive projects autonomously, target-oriented and timely. You are safe in dealing with purchasing contract law, especially in plant engineering, as well as in maintenance and work contracts. You work independently, structured and solution-oriented and are safe to use ERP systems (ideally SAP/S/4HANA and Ivalua) and MS Office.
