Head of Unit – Unit 13 ''Information Technology'' (m/f/d)

In the Bremen Statistical Office, the Office for Information Technology is now in the form of a Head of Unit:in (w/m/d) Group 13 TV-L Reference number: 13 in full time. The job is suitable for parttime work. Depending on the individual qualification, a specialist allowance is granted for five years. The National Statistical Office is responsible for carrying out approximately 200 statutory statistics and has a permanent workforce of around 80, whose number increases significantly in the case of additional temporary tasks. The National Statistical Office is also responsible for the implementation of the elections in the country and the city council of Bremen and for all ten years of census to collect the population and other structural data. The National Statistical Office also includes the nursing training fund (PfAU), which reimburses all the nursing training institutions of the country through a compensation allowance. The task of the Head of Information Technology Unit includes all management tasks of the IT department with currently five employees. The Head of Unit is responsible for the entire IT-technical operation (hardware and software) of the department. In addition, there are also tasks of IT-side preparation and technical implementation/support of special projects, such as the elections or cents in the country and the city community of Bremen. The technical support of new concepts of various specialist statistics in the statistical network and IT security management are also part of the tasks.
