IT Security Engineer (m/f/d)

You monitor and analyze security events and alarms from different sources to detect potential threats at an early stage. You recognize, investigate and process security incidents, carry out thorough cause analyses and take effective countermeasures. You actively shape the further development of our IT security infrastructure by introducing new technologies and processes and making our systems (on-premises / cloud) future-proof. You carry out continuous vulnerability management, identify and evaluate vulnerabilities in our IT landscape and develop appropriate measures to strengthen IT security. You work closely with internal teams and external partners, supported by IT security analyses, audits and penetration tests. With your knowledge, you contribute to the development of the team and actively promote the development of a modern, future-oriented security culture.

You have a degree in IT or a comparable training with relevant professional experience. You bring well-founded experience in security operations, especially in dealing with SIEM, NBA and EDR technologies. You have knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and the most important Microsoft Cloud Security solutions. You think analytic and structured, want to understand complex technical issues and develop solutions - the look into detail is of course for you. You like to work in the team, take responsibility and share your knowledge actively to develop security processes together. You communicate clearly, targeted and have good knowledge of German and English.
