Head of Corporate Insurance (m/f/d)

You assume the central technical responsibility for the insurance and damage management of our group in Germany and Austria. In doing so, you combine sound insurance knowledge with a commercial understanding and support our car homes as internal service providers and savings partners. The position reports directly to the board and includes the professional and disciplinary leadership of a small team. Your main tasks include: Technical support and further development of our corporate insurance, in particular with regard to coverage, exclusions, self-containedness, obligations and insurance limits Creation of transparency on the insurance landscape and identification of coverage gaps, overlaps and insurance risks Preparation of extensions, contract changes and decision bases for CFO and Executive Board, as well as expert support for discussions with insurers and brokers Support and analysis of manufacturer, warehouse and transport insurance, including manufacturer transport, cross-transport, transfer, foreign brokerage and stock and standing risks Technical support for our car homes in complex and major damage cases as well as further development of uniform and practical damage processes Plausitising of damages, insurance services, self-contained and cuts, as well as sustaining substantial open damages Central coordination in major damage events such as hail, storm, fire or extensive storage and transport damage Establishment and further development of meaningful insurance and damage reporting together with controlling as well as derivation of prevention and improvement measures Further development of the existing transfer logics for insurance and damage costs together with finance and controlling

We are looking for an insurance professionally versed personality who understands complex insurance conditions and can be critically questioned and transferred to their practical and economic significance for our group of companies. Your professional profile: Complete training in insurance or comparable commercial qualification with sound insurance experience Multiannual professional experience, ideal in corporate or industrial insurance, in damage management, in an insurer, broker or in the insurance function of an enterprise Good understanding of insurance conditions, coverages, exclusions, self-contained and obligations Experience in the processing or monitoring of damages Embossed commercial and analytical understanding as well as safe handling of Excel and larger amounts of data Ability to prepare complex insurance issues in a comprehensible and decision-oriented manner First leadership or coordination experience is advantageous Experience in automotive trade as well as vehicle, transport or storage car insurance is desirable, but no requirement Your personality: You work structured, carefully and pragmatic You also recognise the economically essential points in complex situations You are a service-oriented contact person for our car houses and internal departments You communicate clearly and bindingly and follow unexplained insurance or damage issues with the necessary toughness You are safe for insurers, brokers, manufacturers and other external partners You are pleased to develop existing structures and at the same time to work on specific insurance and damage issues.
