Vice President (full-time) for Study Innovation, Digital Transformation and Continuing Education

The IB School of Health and Social Affairs, headquartered in Berlin at the Health Campus at the Traumkrankenhaus Berlin, is a state-recognized private university focusing on health, therapy and social professions. For 18 years, she has been offering scientifically sound, practical courses full-time, professional and training-integrated. At five locations – with a focus on Berlin and Stuttgart – around 430 people study in four bachelor and three master programmes. The university stands for small study groups, individual care and close cooperation with institutions of health and social affairs. Since June 2025, it has been part of the international Global Education Network Group, which promotes the expansion of the range of studies, the internationalisation of the bilingual university, the establishment of scientific training (e.g. microcredentials), strategic partnerships (e.g. Double Degrees), exchange programmes and research cooperation. What you expect: As a member of the Bureau, you will report directly to the President and represent them permanently. Together, you are responsible for the strategic and operational development of the university with health and international profile. You take on process responsibility for all accreditations and, in coordination with the President, shape central change processes in structure, study offer, teaching and technical equipment. You take over the management of the Institute for Continuing Education at the University. You further develop the study portfolio strategically – through modular study and further training offers, innovative presence, online and blended formats as well as their organizational and technical implementation. You identify new courses in exchange with business and society and are responsible for their accreditation and state recognition. You drive forward the digital transformation, promote learning experience design and EdTech solutions and secure modern framework conditions for teaching. You establish an agile curriculum management and a continuous feedback and evaluation system for quality assurance. You lead interdisciplinary teams, cooperate closely with departments, teachers, IT, QM and study services and represent the university in relevant networks. You identify synergies between degree programs, training and the research clusters of the university and thus strengthen the field of research. Ideally, you participate in application-oriented research, promote young scientists and acquire third-party funding for transfer projects. Willingness to travel to other study centres due to the decentralized structure of the university.

What the IB university wants from you: A comprehensive university degree, preferably with doctorate. Multiannual leadership and professional experience in higher education, education or administration, in particular in digital teaching and course development. Expertise in university teaching and digital learning skills. You are an innovative, strategic thinking personality with high implementation competence and experience in change management. You communicate confidently with ministries, partners and bodies. You maintain a participatory leadership style, work team-oriented and act independently, responsibly and forward-looking. You develop the field of continuing training into their own strong economic area. Negotiating German and English skills are assumed.

What IB Hochschule offers you: A term of 3 years after a successful election in the Academic Senate, re-election is possible. The office is limited for 3 years due to the election office.
