Your duties

• Head of development projects from design to series production
• Ensuring the timely and budget-compliant implementation of projects and the availability of resources
• Creation of status reports, milestone assessments and risk assessments
• Organisation and moderation of meetings, deriving decisions and ensuring implementation
• Creation and maintenance of development-related documentation according to regulatory requirements
• Early identification of risks and disturbances in the course of the project and the development of appropriate countermeasures
• Control of stakeholders (e.g. customers, licensing authorities, suppliers, internal departments)

Your profile

• Complete studies in medical technology, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science or a comparable technical or scientific study programme
• Technical knowledge, ideally in the fields of medical technology, electronics, software development or systems engineering
• Multiannual professional experience as a project manager or in a comparable function – preferably in the regulated environment (e.g. medical technology, railway, aviation, automotive, pharmaceutical)
• Understanding product development processes (e.g. V-model, waterfall, agile approaches)
• Knowledge of regulatory standards such as EU-MDR, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304
• Confidentiality with international authorisation procedures (e.g. CE marking, FDA approval)
• Safe handling of classic and agile project management methods
• Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
• Project-related readiness to travel to a manageable extent
• Representative communication, leadership and conflict resolution competence
• High level of negotiation skills, team orientation, initiative, self-reflection and sense of responsibility
