We are looking for the 4.5-year dual study of mechanical engineering (B.Eng) in conjunction with an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic (m/w/d) from 01.08.2027. As an industrial mechanic (m/w/d), you are looking for a perfect production process and maintenance of the company. The 2.5-year training takes place in our company, the ILW (Industrial Institute for Teaching and Continuing Education) and at the vocational school Mainz. In the second year, practical training in training is complemented by study units at the environmental campus Birkenfeld. This is what we expect: Learning: During your training, you will learn all the necessary basic knowledge of metal technology, such as control and manufacturing technology, as well as joining processes and electrotechnical foundations Apply: You can process various materials on modern turning and milling machines and learn to operate CNC-controlled machines Study: At the environmental campus Birkenfeld you deepen your knowledge, e.g. in the fields of construction, material science, technical mechanics and production technology Responsibility: Your working day also includes waiting and repairing our production facilities as well as independent planning and handling of work processes Further winding: Through regular feedback, internal work lessons and training, we promote your individual development After successful completion, you will have a recognised IHK degree as an industrial mechanic (m/w/d) as well as the academic degree Bachelor of Engineering and will open up diverse career prospects in the technical field.
