Your Conception and further development of our enterprise data model in the Azure-Lakehouse - focusing on Data Vault (Raw/Business Vault) and derived data marts (e.g. Kimball) Modeling of Hubs, Links, Satellites (including Historic, Keys, Loaded/Record Source, PIT/Bridge Concepts) and deriving technical views for Analytics & Reporting Definition of modelling standards, name conventions and best practices for reusability, scalability and governance Close cooperation with departments, Data Engineers, BI/Analytics and Data Governance to translate requirements into robust, comprehensible data structures Quality assurance of data models (consistency, history, traceability, testability) over the entire data life cycle Support in the integration of new source systems: analysis, mapping, model impact, rules and documentation Cooperation with architectural and technology decisions around Data Vault in Lakehouse (e.g. automation, metadata, orchestration)
Your Completed studies of (economic) informatics, mathematics, natural sciences or a comparable qualification Multiannual experience in data modeling - ideally with a clear focus on Data Vault (2.0); Kimball skills are a plus Very good understanding of history, integration modeling, business keys, surrogate keys as well as conceptual/scientific modeling Cloud/Lakehouse experience, ideally Microsoft Azure Knowledge in Azure Databricks / Spark and programming with Python or Scala (to implement and develop model concepts technically clean) Routine interaction with ETL/ELT processes, data quality and ideally data catalog/metadata/document Structured, independent working, analytical thinking and joy in coordination with stakeholders Very good German and good English skills
