Lead Expert Strategic IT License & Contract Manager (m/f/d)

Determination of the License Need in Customer Projects and Monitoring, Analysis and Assessment of High Complex IT, Software and Licensing Contracts and Manufacturer Conditions with regard to their Impact on Customer Projects Own identification of license-law, contractual and economic risks for customer projects and derivation of appropriate risk mitigation measures in cooperation with specialist areas, project managers, purchasing, legal and other interfaces Individual, solution-oriented consulting of specialist areas, project teams and decision-makers in complex licensing and contract issues, as well as support and guidance of demanding national and international licensing and contract negotiations with major software manufacturers and service providers Design, establishment and optimization of cross-border processes, governance structures and control mechanisms in strategic licensing management Ensuring license, usage and compliance requirements as well as analysis of license usage, cost structures and contract models for cost, benefit and risk minimisation

Successfully completed studies in business management, business informatics, computer science, economic law or a comparable qualification Multiannual, ideally senior-level career experience in IT license management, software asset management, IT contract management, IT purchase or a comparable interface function as well as distinct stakeholder management skills Knowledge of complex software license models, deep understanding of contract law and experience in handling major software manufacturers, international contract structures and manufacturer audits Extensive experience in demanding contractual and licensing negotiations as well as sovereign, binding and convincing occurrences towards internal stakeholders, international subsidiaries, project managers, external manufacturers and service providers as well as knowledge of German and English in word and writing Impressed analytical and strategic thinking, rapid understanding, structured, independent and solution-oriented working methods and technical, commercial and legal understanding with high levels of negotiation and enforcement
