Customs Officer (m/f/d)

As an experienced customs officer (m/w/d), you are our central contact for all customs matters and, through your expertise, secure the legal and efficient handling of all import and export processes. Main responsibility for customs matters and communication with customs authorities Customs handling of import and export operations including ensuring and documentation of correct import and export declarations Acquiring and supplementing authorisations, carrying out customs documents, processing of remedies in case of fines Customization and classification of goods and production of preferential documents Control and optimization of customs processes and cooperation with internal departments (including purchasing, sales, logistics) Responsibility for customs checks and adjustments to changes by customs authorities Participation in process and system development (e.g. SAP GTS, AEB) and implementation of training

Commercial training or economic studies, ideally with further training in customs Multiannual relevant customs professional experience Deep knowledge of customs tariffs, classification of goods and preparation of preferential documents Experience with SAP GTS, ATLAS and other customs systems Strongly pronounced analytical thinking and independent, responsible functioning Good knowledge of German and English
