Group Head of Security Incident Management / Operational Security (m/f/d)

Safety incident management (SVM): Design, implementation and optimization of processes for the detection, evaluation, treatment and tracking of safety incidents, including the further development of a central log service as a data base Establishment and continuous optimization of clearly defined roles, responsibilities and escalation paths including the interfaces to: information security officers, IT operations, departments and external service providers Definition and control of sustainable methods for incident analysis, root Cause Analysis and Lessons Learned Operating IT security: Strategic advice for IT leaders to anchor information security in processes, role profiles and target systems Continuous optimization of IT security processes by planning, carrying out and evaluating audits, tests and incident analyses Promoting a security-oriented culture through “Security by Design” & “Security by Default”, among others, supported by lived basic protection checks Advising all IT teams in the practical implementation of IT security requirements across all operational and project phases, with particular focus on BSI's IT basic protection Close cooperation with the Information Security Officer in implementing regulatory and internal requirements in the IT environment Participation in the (further) development of guidelines, standards and guidelines on information security

successfully completed studies of (economic) informatics or a comparable discipline; as an alternative to relevant IT training with a focus on IT security Knowledge and multiannual practical experience in security incident management and at least one of the areas: cyber/IT security, information security or IT service management Ideally knowledge of common standards and frameworks of information security (e.g. BSI‐IT-Grundschutz, ISO 27001) Very good understanding of central IT processes, in particular in the fields of IT operation, infrastructure, application operation, change and release management First management and/or project management experiences are advantageous Structured and solution-oriented operation with high quality standards High consulting skills and ability to prepare complex issues both in writing and oral address-oriented Impressive ability to promote open, constructive and team-oriented cooperation – both in our own team and across areas Very good knowledge of German in word and writing and good knowledge of English
