Creating, optimizing and correcting CNC machining programs as well as calculating required geometric data Set up and prepare CNC machines, including measuring and installing tools, clamping and measuring devices Enter and optimize programs, set correction values and make setup parts Tension, align and process workpieces and monitor the manufacturing process and machine sequence Conduct quality controls, check dimensional accuracy and surfaces, document deviations and process optimization

Completed at least 3 years of technical or professional training Multiannual practical experience in technical manufacturing environment and safe application of appropriate manufacturing processes Good knowledge of CNC technology, especially in handling CNC controls, program editors and geometry data Safe and careful handling of measuring devices, clamping devices and tools as well as pronounced quality awareness Self-employed, solution-oriented and team-oriented mode of operation, in particular when addressing machining problems and machine disorders
