The professorship is located in the degree program Business Informatics. The course of study is currently in Expansion and was offered for the first time in October 2020 at the DHBW Heilbronn with the fields of study Business Engineering, Data Science and Software Engineering. He spreads the arc between the three areas of economic informatics, economics and computer science. In teaching, applicants (m/w/d) will also be able to cover aspects of software engineering in addition to IT foundations, IT management, IT infrastructure, IT architectures and IT security. The tasks also include the supervision of project and bachelor's work. In addition to the takeover of courses, you will participate in the further development of the study offer in teaching and research in cooperation with our dual partners. Particular attention is paid to the use and further development of our laboratories in teaching and research. The takeover of tasks in academic self-management is assumed.

In-depth knowledge is required in the following areas: IT security, IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and digital transformation technologies and methods. Good contacts to the economy and practical experience in the planning, construction, operation and security of IT infrastructures are of advantage. We wish us an enthusiasm for working in the team and a strong communication strength. In addition, we want enthusiasm for modern and interactive teaching as well as the motivation to convey complex content to students.
