You are analysing gear manufacturing possibilities for our products at the Voith Turbo location Heidenheim. In addition, you define selection and boundary criteria for the individual procedures The development of a model for automatic selection of the appropriate method including Value flow at predetermined target values also counts among your activities. Your tasks include the assessment of the model based on results and cost-effectiveness. You implement the developed model into a tool for use in work preparation.

You are an intangible student in the field of manufacturing technology, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, production technology, industrial engineering or comparable. Ideally, you have already gained first knowledge in the field of gearing, especially in gear machining, as part of your studies, and have also at best gained practical experience in the production environment. We require a secure handling of the MS Office applications; first knowledge in SAP is desirable. A fundamental understanding of the work with AI models and their fields of application is desirable. Very good knowledge of German in word and writing characterize you; English skills are of advantage. Personally, you convince by analytical thinking as well as an independent and structured way of working. Enthusiasm and friends in cooperation with our departments complete your profile.
