Business Unit Manager Liquid & Dry Bulk (m/f/d)

The Head of Division (m/w/d) Liquid & Dry Bulk assumes total operational responsibility for the business unit at the Lübeck site. The position is a central part of the second management level and has a significant influence on the strategic development of the company. In close cooperation with the Counterpart in Antwerp, the position is responsible for operating the entire bulk and liquid business of the group of companies. Direct reporting is made to the management of Bruhn Spedition GmbH. Planning, control and monitoring of daily Liquid & Dry Bulk Transports Ensuring high service quality and customer-oriented and efficient daily business Central contact for key customers and support in implementing new customers and supply chain solutions Responsibility for the economic development of the business unit, including budgetary and earnings responsibility, KPI monitoring and regular reporting Selection, control and further development of partners and service providers such as shipping companies, railway operators, transport companies, depots and terminals Close cooperation with sales in evaluating customer requirements, developing tailor-made solutions and identifying optimization potentials Coordination and interface management with internal departments such as quality management, insurance, technology and accounting Close cooperation with the Liquid & Dry Bulk team in Antwerp on the cross-site management and further development of the business unit Support of management in the strategic orientation and further development of the Liquid & Dry Bulk area Direct reporting line to the management and management team of Bruhn Spedition

Successfully completed training or studies in the field of forwarding, logistics, transport management or a comparable discipline Multiannual professional experience in intermodal and/or international transport, ideally in the field of bulk or liquid transport Experience in the professional and disciplinary leadership of employees High operational competence and a pronounced hands-on mentality Analytical thinking and a pronounced numerical understanding Entrepreneurial thinking with focus on efficiency, quality and sustainable results Self-employed, proactive and solution-oriented working methods as well as a strong sense of decision Communication strength and negotiation skills in handling customers, partners and employees Team-oriented personality with willingness to design and joy in actively driving changes High self-initiative and a safe and convincing appearance Intercultural competence and international thinking English knowledge in word and writing
