Design Accounting with us Disclosing complex accounting issues, consulting corporate companies and advancing accounting issues professionally: Bertelsmann Global Business Services' Accounting Center of Expertise awaits you with a diverse international role. As a central spokesperson for billing-relevant questions, you support our Group companies in demanding accounting topics and work closely with the central Group areas. In addition to IFRS and HGB, international projects, M&A topics as well as the further development of processes and internal controls are part of your task. Your tasks The focus of your activity is on consulting our Group companies on accounting and valuation issues according to IFRS and HGB. Complex accounting sessions you analyze, develop practical solutions and document the results. In international projects, especially with M&A reference, you introduce your accounting expertise. Your expertise is also in demand when developing accounting processes and internal controls. You will keep your eye on new accounting requirements and accompany their implementation in practice. You continuously develop internal policies and technical specifications together with the relevant interfaces. You can pass on your knowledge, for example in presentations, workshops and trainings.

A successfully completed study, for example with a focus on international accounting, auditing or business tax theory, forms a good basis for the position. Finding knowledge of IFRS and HGB will help you deal with challenging accounting issues. First practical experience in an internationally operating group or an auditing company is advantageous. Knowledge of accounting with SAP is desirable. Analytical thinking and a structured way of working help you find pragmatic and implementable solutions for complex issues. Communication strength and team spirit are the same as a high quality awareness and a pronounced problem-solving competence. Very good English skills complete your profile.
