The Bremen Chamber of Labour is a public body. It has, among other things, the legal task of pursuing and promoting the overall interests of workers in the country of Bremen in particular in economic, professional and social terms. The policy consultancy department has the task of clarifying and advising policies and administration as well as trade unions and associations on the situation of workers in the country of Bremen and making their interests public. Employee-oriented analysis: analysis and assessment of the current care policy and legislation at the federal and national level from the point of view of employees, in particular with the focus on long-term care, training of caregivers, migration with regard to health and care professions. Opinions & Reports: Development of sound social and nursing positions, concepts and contributions, for example for the annual 'Report on the situation of workers in the Land of Bremen'. Events: Conception, implementation and moderation of events as well as the design and implementation of own contributions at own and external events. Committee and network work: Representation of chamber interests in health and political bodies of the country of Bremen and in exchange with trade unions and politics at national and federal level. Public relations: The representation of chamber interests to the outside, including the answer to press requests. Project work: Initiating or accompanying studies on the situation of nurses.

Qualification: Completed academic studies (e.g. nursing, public health, political sciences, sociology or a related subject). Specialized knowledge of the German health system, in particular the legal care insurance and the working conditions in care. Competences: skills of political communication, strong analytical thinking and the ability to concise complex attitudes. Experience in cooperation with institutions and actors close to work is desirable
