Become part of our team: You make the difference – YOU MAKE US Our CAE Trucks - Drive Systems & CO2 department is responsible for the virtual design and safeguarding of conventional and alternative or electrical drive trains at component level and in the entire vehicle as well as energy and consumption calculations at vehicle level. The CAE Powertrain Fluids & Thermodynamics team deals with flow and thermodynamic simulations for engine and exhaust gas aftertreatment as well as battery cells, eaxis, emotors and fuel cell systems. Our team consists of 14 highly motivated and friendly colleagues who are looking forward to your support. We are smart and always work together for each other, with passion and harmoniously. We communicate at eye level, directly and in regular exchange dates. We are open, constructive and honest with each other. Feedback is very important to us, so we grow together. That's what you expect: performing a comprehensive literature research for modeling hysteresis in relevant active materials (e.g. LFP, graphite) Comparison and selection of suitable models for describing the hysteresis behavior of LFP -graphite cells

Implementation and adaptation of models into the existing tool chain (Matlab, Comsol)

Creation of suitable measurement protocols for the generation of validation data

Validation of models with measurement data for different cell formats (pouch and prismatic cells)

Documentation of results

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Physics or a related subject Interest in mathematical modeling and simulation of Li-ion batteries Basic knowledge of battery cell area First experiences in simulation & modeling of advantage Programming experiences (Python, Matlab) as well as handling simulation tools (Comsol) are helpful German or English knowledge Embossed team skills and good communication skills Analytical, strategic and innovative thinking and action Additional information: Of course, without formalities, we are not.
