This makes this job interesting for me: 50Hertz has been committed for a long time for the energy transition. The aim is to make the system control for a 100 % renewable energy system sustainable. To achieve this goal, 50Hertz is driving the digitalization of the system management. This means the development of software – a platform and digital products such as the MCCS – Modular Control Center System. While the MCCS is being developed internally, various external cooperations with partners are being established, who want to take a similar path and/or take a similar path. The aim of the cooperation is to promote the digitization of the energy transition together with our partners. In the team advisory & cooperation of the system management, I am responsible for cooperation with national and international partners (distributive network operators, transmission system operators, associations such as the ENTSO-E, research institutions and other partners from the ecosystem). I work at the interface between internal development of the software and external cooperation. My tasks: I am responsible for building a community for digital system management with the aim of strategic development and implementation of concrete IT technical cooperation with network operators, research institutions, industry and other partners from the energy sector, I advise, plan and develop relevant cooperations (regional / national / international) with our partners in the context of system management and digitalization, I implement a proactive internal and external communication strategy, I represent 50Hertz in various formats, such as conferences or online events, I establish and maintain cooperation agreements, declarations of intent and declarations of confidentiality with relevant partners, I collaborate with colleagues from various areas of 50Hertz in the context of digitalization and beyond, I am in continuous exchange with relevant stakeholders (from management to specialist) with a very broad set of know-how as a positive side effect.
