Cybersecurity Network & Firewall Architect (m/f/d)

Fundamental responsibility for the architecture of network and firewall infrastructures (on-premises, hybrid and cloud) including definition of target architectures, standards and security control Development of company-wide architecture and security requirements for network security technologies (e.g. firewalls, proxies, VPN, NAC, IDS/IPS, ZTNA, SASE) Architectural support of security-relevant transformation and infrastructure projects, in particular in the cloud and hybrid environment (Azure, AWS, GCP) Expert advice on IT operations, projects and specialist areas in the sense of “Secure by Design” and on the assessment of network-related risks Conceptual cooperation with SOC and Security Operations, including to derive preventive measures from threat and incident analyses Participation in overarching security initiatives (e.g. PKI, encryption, identity & access management, remote access, network access control and many more) Creation of architectural concepts, decision-making and assessment templates for management and specialist bodies

Education: Completed study of computer science, IT security, network technology or a comparable qualification, e.g. knowledge acquired through many years of professional experience Professional experience: Multiannual relevant professional experience in the architecture of network security and infrastructure security solutions in complex business environments Expertise: knowledge in the field of network technologies (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLAN, DNS, VPN) and market-leading security platforms (e.g. Palo Alto, Fortinet and Cisco) Experience gained in securing hybrid and cloud-based network infrastructures Impressive ability to prepare complex technical facts structured and ready for decision

Language knowledge: Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Personality: Strong analytical and conceptual skills and process orientation Self-employed and structured procedures Conflictability, Enforcement and Teamability High level of self-motivation and very good communication skills
