These challenges await you with us: You are responsible for coordinating and controlling the airline negotiations for our Airfreight Gateway Carriers in Germany, including procurement processes, pricing and the implementation of new carrier agreements You control the strategic air freight procurement portfolio in your area of responsibility, including carrier selection, capacity assurance, contract and tariff management, and the implementation of internal requirements You are responsible for data-based performance and cost management, among other things, through analysis and management of over and undercovers (Overs & Unders) at Lane level, as well as monitoring and escalation of deviations in carrier performance You develop strategies to optimize the cargo mix and strengthen the performance of the German Airfreight Gateways and Carriers Another focus is the strategic development of all German Airfreight Gateways including planning, control and implementation of relevant operational processes You conduct powerful teams in the field of Airfreight Gateway and Carrier Management in Germany in a disciplined manner and develop the subordinate executives through coaching and targeted control You work closely with internal and external stakeholders at national and international level Regular voting, workshops and performance reviews to ensure a strong and uniform national network are also part of your task You are responsible for active internal and external communication to promote new routes and product concepts In addition, you are responsible for all air cargo-related procurement, gateway and carrier KPIs in Germany Ensuring transparency, high analysis quality and data-based decision-making is also your responsibility You implement measures to optimize costs and increase sales in the gateway and carrier environment Finally, you will ensure the achievement of your responsibility within the defined framework conditions and ensure compliance with all compliance policies and group-wide strategic requirements That's what we want from you: Completed (BA) studies in relevant fields At least 8 years of leadership responsibility in the air freight sector Excellent knowledge in the freight and gateway sectors Commercial thinking and analytical skills Result-oriented work, team skills, resilience, flexibility, organizational skills Good PC knowledge (M365) Excellent knowledge of English (in word and writing) Why you should come to us:
