Creating fascinating: Your tasks Research and evaluation of alternative rotor position sensors (e.g. Hall-based and inductive sensors) for electric drive systems Comparison of different sensor technologies with respect to accuracy, robustness, costs, EMC behavior and integration effortBuilding, commissioning and evaluation of laboratory tests for rotor position and current measurement and deriving recommendations for future designs Experimental investigation of coreless current measurement methods (e.g. differential Hall) including the design and testing of test circuits and comparison with conventional current measurement systems Support in building and testing prototypes in the environment of electric motors and inverters as well as the production of technical documentation and results reports based on measurement data analysis.

Bringing strengths: Your qualifications Continuous study of electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable technical course Basic knowledge of electrical machines, measuring technology or power electronics Interest in sensor technology, e-mobility and drive technologies Self-employed, structured and analystic procedures Team skills and commitment in practical laboratory and development tasks
