Employee (m/w/d) in the gear hardening shop

As an employee (m/w/d) in the hardening industry, you are an important part of the production process. They are responsible for the heat treatment of gears to ensure their hardness and wear resistance and thus guarantee the longevity of our products. Preparation of gears for the hardness process: Cleaning of gears Application of protective layers (if necessary) Providing the gears for the hardening systems

Operation and monitoring of the hardness systems: Installation and removal of equipment setting and monitoring of process parameters (temperature, holding time, cooling speed) Ensuring a smooth curing process

Process control and quality assurance: Monitoring the hardness processes to ensure the specified results Performance of quality checks after hardening (hardness testing, measurement testing, inspection of damage) Documentation of test results

Documentation and reporting: Detection and documentation of the hardness processes Preparation of test reports Notification of deviations and disturbances

Ideally a completed training in the metal sector (e.g. as a hardener, material examiner, industrial mechanic) or comparable qualification Experience in the field of heat treatment of metals of advantage, but not absolutely necessary Technical understanding and craftsmanship Careful and precise operation Quality awareness and responsibility Teamability and reliability Willingness to shift work
