You are responsible for the care, development and effectiveness of our environmental management system according to ISO 14001 and take over the function as environmental management officerr. You ensure compliance with environmental legislation, evaluate environmental aspects and risks and develop appropriate targets, programs and measures. You control waste, hazardous materials and hazardous goods topics in compliance with the law and are contact personin the case of authorities, certification bodies, service providers and internal departments. You continue to build HSE processes, standards, key figures and reports, prepare management reviews and support sustainability and location-wide projects within the Hero Group.
You have a successfully completed study in the field of environmental, energy, waste or occupational safety management or a comparable field of expertise. You have at least three years of experience in operational work and environmental protection and know you with management systems, compliance, cost and budget planning as well as complex processes. You are a specialist in occupational safety and have ideally gained first experience in the field. You have relevant qualifications, e.g. as an environmental management officer according to ISO 14001, internal auditor*in and ideally in the waste, hazardous materials, hazardous goods or work protection field. You are working with Office tools and SAP, ideally bringing experience with Quentic and enjoy developing, evaluating and explaining key figures. You communicate safely in German, good to very good in English, and bring willingness to business trips, federation work and continuous training.
