IT Security Engineer (m/w/d)

Germany has the best health system in the world. In order for this to remain the case, we will ensure that 700 colleagues from the Kassenarzt Vereinigung Niedersachsen, in short KVN, provide the low-altitude supply of contractors (m/w/d) and psychotherapists (m/w/d). In addition, we represent their interests towards the health insurance companies and politics and advise them in all matters relating to the establishment, management and settlement. Innovative and forward-looking digital solutions play a central role in this, which is why we are currently working with about 100 specialists in our IT, a trend increasing. The job is part-time but full-time.

As an IT Security Engineer, you are responsible for the analysis of network- and job-specific risks and vulnerabilities and work closely with colleagues from our IT infrastructure. You work to implement the processes and activities of IT security and evaluate new IT security technologies. You create concepts and decision templates to improve the security level and carry out risk assessments as well as vulnerability analyses independently or in the course of workshops. You manage and maintain the curing parameters of our IT landscape (e.g. in Active Directory) and support the quality assurance of security measures. You are responsible for building and developing security dashboards and reports.

You can demonstrate a successfully completed study, ideally with a focus on information technology, or a comparable training in IT. We require the usual security certificates for this demanding activity. You convince with their sound expertise, both in the design of IT security systems and in technical IT security management. You have deeper knowledge in Active Directory (AD) and ideally in Tenable and Splunk. Knowledge about the ITIL process landscape is advantageous. You enjoy the identification of errors and develop self-organized solutions. With your analytical and independent way of thinking, it is also easy to respond to the needs of our internal customers in stress situations.
