We stand for a modern, immunologically based, academic rheumatology in the university maximum care with the entire spectrum of inflammatory-rheumatic system diseases. Our cross-sectoral care (outpatient, stationary and semi-stationary/day clinician) is combined with clinical studies that quickly bring innovative, targeted therapies to our patients. Under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Jan Leipe, we continue to build our strong team from the fields of rheumatology and clinical immunology - innovation-driven, patient-centered and closely interdisciplined.

• Support Supervision and guidance of doctors in continuing education and training
• Width, most modern rheumatological diagnostics and therapy of the entire spectrum of inflammatory-rheumatic diseases
• Close cooperation between the various disciplines within the Department of Internal Medicine I and between the other clinics of the University Campus
• Interdisciplinary cooperation in the CCIM (Excellence Center of Inflammation Medicine, Ambulance House): Rheumatology in direct exchange with, inter alia, gastroenterology, pneumology and dermatology under one roof, in a specially designed building with close interconnection of supply and research
• Participation/ active participation in top-class interdisciplinary case conferences and clinical boards
