For our SOS Children's Village Sauerland we are looking for a full-time educator/social teacher/healer education teacher (m/w/d) for our youth group (38,5 h/w) Your task: The offer of our youth group with nine places is aimed at young people, where the focus is on a perspectively successful understanding and can benefit from a targeted range of relationships and a socially educational environment. The house of the residential group with integrated training unit is located on the grounds of the SOS Children's Village Sauerland in Lüdenscheid and offers space for up to 9 young people. The team usually consists of 6 educational professionals. Together with your teammates, you take over the young people as a pedagogical specialist and actively work with the education and assistance planning. With your expertise and empathy, you promote the individual development of young people and give them orientation, security and support through the establishment of an emotionally reliable and stable relationship. They organize a structured daily routine and contribute to the design of an active group life. A good cooperation with schools, doctors, therapists, other external assistance and support systems as well as the respective parents is maintained by you. They carry out the necessary documentation and reporting, support the management in the further development of the educational work and participate in professional, internal bodies of the institution. They are conscientiously implementing the protection of children and persons. Your qualifications and skills: They have a degree as an educator or a curative nursein or a university degree of social education or educational sciences or a comparable educational qualification and provide as much professional experience as possible. They have the competence to integrate targeted promotion into everyday life. They show commitment to the further development of our pedagogical work with the representatives. They are team-ready and have an independent way of working. They are willing to take over the occasionally occurring domestic activities.
